DUE DATE Policy
Thank you for considering our services for your custom art piece. We would like to inform you about our due date policy to ensure the highest quality and timely delivery of your artwork.
For all commissioned pieces, we typically provide an estimated completion timeline based on the medium and size of the artwork. Please note that certain forms require specific drying times and attention to detail, which influence these timelines:
Drawings : For pencil drawings, we generally require 2 weeks to complete an 11x14 piece. Anything smaller could be done sooner, and anything larger will take longer.
Acrylic Paintings : These take at least 4 weeks to complete for an 11x14 canvas, as acrylics require many layers and drying times for each layer. Anything smaller could be done sooner, and anything larger will take longer.
Oil Paintings : Due to the nature of oil paints, they require a longer drying process, so a minimum of an 8-weeks completion time is necessary for an 11x14 piece. Anything smaller could be done sooner, and anything larger will take longer.
If you require a faster turnaround for your commission, please be aware that rush fees will apply. These fees are necessary to accommodate the expedited process needed to take while ensuring the quality and integrity of the artwork.
The drying times and care needed for each medium cannot be compromised, and larger canvases may also contribute to longer processing times.
We appreciate your understanding and are happy to work with you to create a timeline that suits your needs. Please don’t hesitate to contact us you have any questions or would like to discuss your specific commission in more detail.

DOES THIS PAINTING HAVE A Due Date? Before proceeding with your commissioned art piece, we would like to make sure you are fully informed about the key terms and conditions of our process. You are required to review the following important details:
Deposit Requirement :
A 20% non-refundable deposit is required before any work on your commissioned piece can begin. This secures your place in our schedule and covers the initial preparation costs. If the artist needs to cancel the commission for any reason, the deposit will be refunded.
Artist’s Unique Style :
The artist works exclusively in her own style and creativity. Requests to replicate or copy another artist’s work or style will not be accepted. If such a request is made, the client will be asked to revise their request or cancel the commission.
Changes to the Commission :
Any substantial changes to the initial request after work has begun may result in additional charges or an altered timeline. In order to avoid price or timeline altercations, please make any changes before the deposit is sent.
Force Majeure:
The artist nor Ekcheō Int’l Art Co. is not responsible for delays caused by unexpected circumstances beyond their control, such as illness, weather, or supply chain issues.
Transparency in Communication :
If any issues arise during the creation of your commission - whether internal or involving a third-party company - we promise to be transparent and communicate openly with you. Should a problem occur that affects the outcome of the work, we will consult with you for a mutual solution.
Communication and Feedback :
The client is encouraged to provide clear feedback through the process, but feedback should be constructive. Regular updates will be shared with the client (e.g., sketches, progress photos, etc.).
Dispute Resolution :
If a dispute arises, the client and artist agree to attempt to resolve it through communication. If necessary, mediation or other legal avenues may be pursued.
Discounts :
While discounts are not typically offered, please feel free to inquire if you believe there is a special situation where one may apply. We will evaluate each case individually.
Pricing and Invoices :
Once the initial invoice is sent, the price is subject to limited adjustments. After the finalized invoice is sent and accepted, the price is locked in, and no further changes will be allowed. Additional fees for things like framing, shipping, or rush orders will be clearly outlined in the invoice.
Shipping and Liability :
Once your painting is shipped, any issues that arise during transit (such as damage or delays) are beyond our control. We will ensure that your artwork is properly packaged and shipped, but cannot be held responsible for post-shipping conditions, though every effort will be made to resolve the situation.
Confidentiality:
Any personal information shared with the artist (e.g., names, contact information, private addresses, etc.) will remain confidential and not be used for any purpose other than completing the commission.
Publicity and Social Media :
The client agrees that the artist may post the commissioned artwork on our website or social media platforms unless otherwise requested not to.
Copyright and Usage Rights:
The artist retains the copyright to the artwork, meaning she can use the piece in portfolios, on social media, and for promotional purposes. All of Ekcheō Int’l Art Co. content including product images, trademarks, illustrations, designs, photographs, artwork, etc. materials are copy rights, trademarks, and other intellectual property on this site is owned, controlled, exclusively by Ekcheō Int’l Art Co., LLC.
